    Short summary describing this character.

Unlike his brother Spencer, who disappears without a trace over the course of F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon, and whose ultimate fate is unknown, Redd's fate is explicitly shown during F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. After an unsuccessful attempt to arrest Genevieve Aristide for her crimes against humanity, the squad is captured by the Armacham Technology Corporation, who experiment on them as part of Project Paragon, an attempt to artificially recreate the Point Man's superhuman reflexes and combat skills. Although the procedure is a complete success on Redd's teammate Sergeant Michael Becket, who walks away in good health and with new bullet time abilities, the facility where they are being held is attacked by ATC mercenaries with orders to destroy all illegal Armacham operations to cover their tracks, and Redd is abandoned by the ATC scientists during the procedure, leaving the automated machinery to dump a massive overdose of the chemicals involved into his body. Although fatal, this allows him to briefly think on the same psychic wavelength as Alma Wade, who he perceives as a beautiful woman singing to him sweetly. Becket finds Redd as he is mumbling about Alma's song, and Jankowski dies seconds later.

Redd and Spencer never mention each other in their respective games, and it is unknown which brother is older.
