If anyone wants to make my Oni speedrun more exciting, I'm suggesting the Backbreakers for Bucks challenge - pledge to donate $1 for each backbreaker I can land during my run! It's the most powerful melee move, but it requires me to get behind an enemy and that's super hard even when I'm not trying to go fast! I can manage between 10 and 20 in a single run if I'm lucky. We'll be keeping a running tally during the speedrun, so let's collect spines together - for the kids! :D

They're still the part of the jam I have the most trouble with, and this time I scheduled this a bit at the last minute; Giant ROM 4 ended as I was scrambling to leave on a month-long trip that I'm still recovering from. Sorry about that - I need to plan this part better in the future.
I've been poking the GB folks here and there; whatever happens, I'd love for the amazing stuff everyone's made to get some visibility. I'll keep doing my best! Thanks for your patience and your participation, both mean a lot to me. ?
@frump: I posted about helping games with the fewest ratings over on the itch.io board and the lead dev replied favorably, so there might be something in the works for future jams! Fingers crossed. ^^
@bobbykatz: It's totally fine to add a second version with bugfixes! Ratings are over, so at this point anything you want to do to have a version folks can play for a more bug-free experience is fine. ^^
Perhaps in the future more notification/reminders that everyone should go rate the games are needed. Games with the most ratings only have 18, which is under 40% of the people who entered. It could also be a problem with itch's jam systems that it doesn't let you organize or prioritize by games least voted on.
That's a really good point! I'll poke the itch.io folks to see if that kind of feature would be possible in the future!
