Ekberg was one of the few reasons I still listened to the Gamespot podcast. It would be awesome if he joined these fine fellows at GB, but I may still follow him if he continues to be a writer elsewhere.
Gran Turismo will always have a special place in my heart. It was the first true console simulation racer. It inspired Turn 10 to make the outstanding Forza series. But for me there is something about GT that always feels right. They seem to be more about the love of cars than the actual racing - which is something that reflects my own heart. I will probably buy them both.
This game is beginning to click for me. I just defeated two demons on the trot (2-1 and then 1-2). Its one of the most rewarding games I have played in recent times. Its hard to penetrate, but rewards you for persevering. Its still early days for me, but I can see why people plough so much time into this game. Thanks for the advice! I think this game is going to be keeping me busy for a while to come...
" Yeah, I have mixed feelings about the game so far. I finding it really hard starting out and making really slow progress. The game isn't helpful in any way. It does a poor job of explaining things(I wish the manual wasnt in Chinese!) and its really punishing. Any progress made can be wiped out so easily, so unlike other RPGs, the time you put into it doesnt directly affect your characters stats. It can get really frustrating. But on the other hand, it wipes your progress so easily, that you have to be careful and just get better at killing guys. That is a rewarding feeling.ATM I have only cleared 1-1 and I want to grind somewhere to get my characters stats up. Any suggestions? "
Continue in 1-1, i guess your pretty low level if you only just cleared 1-1. So i bet 2-1 will be too tough for you still. "
What level should I be to attempt to tackle 1-2? Also is OK to consume the unknown soldier/hero/etc. souls? Would I need them for something later on?
