Rebuilding My Collection

About six or so years ago I sold off all my old games. All of my NES, SNES, N64, and PS2 systems and games. I have never forgiven myself for doing this. I have made the decision to rebuild my collection. These are the games that I am looking for and/or have already purchased.

List items

  • Purchased this one mostly complete in box. Adding the "Killer Cuts" CD that I kept from my original purchase, it is truly "Complete" now.

  • One of the two games that you really HAVE to have if you own a SNES.

  • The other of the two games that you have to have.

  • One of the most memorable first party games for the SNES. It looked great then.

  • Never actually owned this one, but figured I probably should from here on.

  • Before everyone wanted to have sex with Ocarina of Time, this was THE Zelda game to own.

  • I don't know... why not?

  • I was recommended this game from several different people. Never owned it before. I guess we'll see.

  • It's not the ideal version of the game, but it will do in a pinch. Besides, I got it on the cheap.

  • Fuck the haters, Final Fantasy VI (3 in the US) is the best FF game they have ever released. (Not Purchased)

  • Never really did much with this one originally, but why not have the game in the collection. (Not Purchased)

  • Again, people hate on this game but I have always been a fan of it. No real reason, just have. (Not Purchased)

  • This game is one of those that showed how well a table top D&D style game could work. Can't wait to get this one again. (Not Purchased)

  • Other than Final Fantasy 3, Super Metroid is easily my favorite on the system. Finished it multiple times, and will again. (Not Purchased)

  • If you don't play Mario Kart, then you probably played this. Fast and a hell of a lot of fun with friends. (Not Purchased)

  • Never owned this one either, but I sure do love the Punch Out games. (Not Purchased)

  • The game that I bought that at the time cost more than the system I played it on. As a "collectors item" it almost costs less. (Not Purchased)

  • Another one of those "why not" games. (Not Purchased)

  • Probably never going to own this one, but a man can dream. I guess. (Of Course, Not Purchased)

  • Used to play this game a lot as a rental. (Not Purchased)

  • Another expensive game for the SNES I owned, but probably will never again. (Not Purchased)

  • Another game recommended to me. (Not Purchased)

  • Fun game, one I missed back in the day, but would love to get at this point. (Not Purchased)

  • Great NES game that I vividly remember playing with friends for hours. Now the store music is stuck in my head. (Not Purchased)

  • Such a punishing game to play as a kid. It's no easier now, but I still want it back. (Not Purchased)

  • My all time favorite in the series. A bit easier than the first, but still can be so difficult. (Not Purchased)

  • The last in the series that I ever bought. Great bosses, and better music. Hold left on controller 2. (Not Purchased)

  • Loved this game. Probably because, at the time, I had all the action figures in real life that I was playing as on screen. (Not Purchased)

  • One of the first games I remember hating so much I loved it. Don't let your torches burn out. (Owned)

  • Much like Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt, how can you own a NES and NOT have this game... (Not Purchased)

  • Like a more modern version of Shadowgate. It was a game I would rent several times in a row, but never actually complete. (Not Purchased)

  • I never really liked this one as a kid, but I got it with the system. (Owned)

  • Play it for 10mins, get pissed, turn it off. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. (Owned)

  • Didn't even know this game existed. Was told to pick it up by friends. It's not so bad. (Owned)

  • Always loved this game for some reason. Never really been able to nail down why. (Not Purchased)
