I played some video games in 2020
I had a few others I enjoyed and wanted to mention, but let's leave this at just 10!

Turns out, if you want to get me into gacha you just have to make a good game around it. Go figure!
The characters aren't quite as likeable as Max and Chloe but damn this game swings hard at what it's going for.
It's more Yakuza. My only complaint is that they added *too much* Majima after his popularity from Zero. He was so cool in the original Yakuza *because* it was a rare treat when he appeared.
Played it on and off with friends for a few years, but this year - for obvious reasons - it really hit off.
This is that cyberpunk game that everyone's been talking about, right?
Amazing "switch your brain off for a while" experience. I entirely blame Alex Navarro's stream for getting me to play this.
Simon Amstell is an absolute treasure.
Legitimately the most fun - if maybe for the wrong reasons - I've had out of almost any game this year. It's easy to dunk on but it was short enough to not feel tiresome and honestly I would replay this again before even glancing at most games these days.
Missile is still the best dog in all of video games.
The highlight of that itch bundle for me.
