Looks like they are acknowledging Tales From the Borderlands so that's pretty cool. Here's hoping they also take the quality of writing and humor from that game too.

APEX Legends is definitely my BR game of choice. I was initially against the forced squad aspect (I always play Solo modes in other BR's) and as someone who doesn't like communicating with random players, being able to communicate quite effectively with out voice or text and have it work so well is amazing.

Though, if Radical Heights had kept on going it may have been that. I genuinely enjoyed it as it was Fortnite with the not-serious attitude (I'm also a big fan of the Game Show aesthetic), but with no building and better shooting.

Not heard of this until now, but I'm kinda into with the art of Yoji Shinkawa and and the style of Russia by the way of Japan filtered through anime. Looks like a low rent hybrid of MGSV and The Division oddly enough.

I'd like to play this but I'm not sure it's worth $90AUD (Steam RRP)

I have been having a blast with it. It feels like a re-tuned Crackdown 1 which is not always bad thing especialy as someone who absolutely loved the first game. I think getting it as part of Game Pass and being on PC has soften the blow.

My problems with the game so far is:

  • Occasional random stuttering
  • Tthe default mouse sensitivity is real bad, had to turn it up to near max to be acceptable.
  • Game looks washed out
  • The lock-on system with a mouse threw me for a loop, but I'm getting used to it. I wish there was an option to disable it and have it be Zoom/ADS like option.

Will definitely be a game I play while listening to podcasts, GB Video content etc.

I will say it looks absolutely stunning on an X1X at 4K, but the performance just ain't there, though hopefully it's smoother at launch.

I agree with Jeff in that the gun-play feels lifeless but as someone who likes ability spam that part of the combat has been fun. (This is based on Last Weeks demo, haven't tried this weekends demo yet.)

But as someone who is still trucking along with Destiny 2 & The Division 2 out in March and have friends playing/interested in both), I can't really juggle all 3.

Xbox Live has been having some service issues for the last ~2 days. Try doing a Hard Rest, while the Xbox is one hold the power button on the console until the screen goes black. (You will need manually sign back in afterwords, so hopefully you remember your password/2FA)
