@nutter: Yeah it is absolutely a good direction. Like you said they are just a bit too pervy, so this is a great step forward. Though I’m sure there will be the dlc with skimpy outfits too.
@nutter: In the associated IGN article they are on the record saying no jiggly boobs, and less sexualized females. I am super excited for this as it is really the only fighting game series I enjoy.
I won't be touching Destiny 2 till September at the earliest, and even then it's going to take a significant effort on Bungie's part to bring me back in. I see no mention of new raid loot/systems, or additional crucible sandbox changes. Those are my two biggest gripes, but I also see there is a continued lack of content in this game which is absurd given how many people work at the damn studio.
While they are making changes, those changes don't seem right to me, or certainly not enough to make me interested in coming back. All increasing power ammo availability does in my mind is give the better team a clear advantage particularly if they can control the spawns (a likely scenario given primaries are terrible compared to possible OHK weapons). Bungie needs to remove the two dudes in charge of the sandbox because they have done nothing but make it worse time and again especially if you consider HoW to be the peak of crucible (like I do).
I know I won't be the only one but this is where the game should have been to begin with and it is also a terrible timeline. That should be far more condensed and instead it feels like they are trying to sell me these features in the fall DLC.
@marcsman: @mezza: I would also add that there is an amount of planning involved as well though in world that planning is a bit more forgiving. As an example in previous games you would need to know that monster X is weak to element Y and bring equipment accordingly. For me, the appeal is certainly the loot/upgrade component but also learning and adapting to a given monster and their attacks. It is certainly not for everyone, so if you are still not feeling it, don't force it.
I have played a bunch of the beta and while I am not long standing fan (Started with 3U on WiiU), I have to say the beta has been amazing to play. I've decided that I will end up using Bow and probably Charge Blade. I have been able to solo kill both the Rathalos and Diablos with the bow which was very satisfying. Absolutely love everything about the beta.
