I can't think of many other games that were able to grab me in the way Mass Effect 2 did. After two playthroughs and 65 hours spent playing it, I still find myself completely enamored by the world and its cast of characters. The story lines and dialogue in this game kept pushing me towards the game's inevitable end, but I didn't care, because I just wanted to see it, and most important of all, it made me care about the members of my team and their fate.
Superior in pretty much every way to its predecessor, Mass Effect 2 is by far my favorite game of 2010.

Is it perfect? Definitely not, but Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game charmed the pants off me within minutes of my first time playing it. The old school aesthetic, the absolutely charming chiptune soundtrack and "River City Ransom" style gameplay kept me going back to this one time and time again, be it for solo play or breaking it out with a few friends.
