@awkwardl0ser: That's a bit of a generalization. I'm a guy, and I would never, ever think to do any of these things. Definitely a stereotype, but one I've yet to witness in real life.
Jeff is a Weeb! That animated cutscene was great, probably drawn by one guy who spent months keying it out. Though I fully support Jeff descent into anime. Also I was into this game for the first 10 minutes until I was fully out.
That person probably did not understand that not everything has to move all the time, it looks jittery and overanimated. Set up a few still shots, make the most of your backgrounds, and just chill out. Even the close-up was overanimated. And those can be so easy to do! It's even more productive to cut corners like that, animators do it all the time.
Also, this is an 80s inspired "cartoon homage" right? Cartoons in the 80s had, like, three key-frames of animation per 10 seconds of footage.
This game is amazing, and I'm bummed they ended before the thing happened. That's a shame. Akarsha is great, don't listen to haters. Wish they'd continue, I'm totally gonna play through this a second time now.
Something bothers me about Abby’s resistance on an easy solution to the bathrooms and her insistence that “it’s the ladies room!” On a lot of different levels.
One of those being is it felt like a very selfish Dan-ism.
Of course it's selfish, that's what's funny about it. You don't have to find it funny, but the selfishness was the point.
