Wow, first time I duck into comments on a podcast in a while and man, some people need to back their hate train up. You're allowed to have your opinion but show some decorum at least.

Common courtesy and common sense - lack the first and it makes people question whether you possess the second.

Especially hearing Double Fine now entering the fold -- geeze, I really hope Microsoft treats these studios better than they've treated studios in the past. They're not quite as bad as EA - but that's not saying much.

Makes me want to re-install Warframe and see if I can get back into it. My wife and I played about 350 hours of it -- all before the coming of the Second Dream. We then moved on to other games, and it's now that situation where so much has changed, every time I feel like I want to try and get back in, I spend my entire allotted game time reading patch notes and trying to figure out what they've done to the melee system. :) "Games as a service" makes for a really steep ramp to get back in if you fall off.

We used the mercy rule at the University arcade I played at in Waterloo, Canada, but it only happened if one player was significantly stronger than the other. This was back in the early/mid 90s...

Thanks Rorie and everybody involved! I'm really looking forward to the jersey.

I'm hoping that very few people take up that refund offer - this is a pretty special thing if you like Giant Bomb and want to show support, a lot of people worked their butts off to make this happen, and in the grand scheme of things, a month's delay for a custom hockey jersey is nothing. (Or for anything - I'm currently in a kickstarter that the creators are still fulfilling stretch goals SIX YEARS after the project was funded. If I order anything custom, I always tack on a bunch of time beyond the deadline - making custom stuff is HARD especially if it's a product or process you don't have any direct experience in.)

Listening to the part about PlaystationPlus reminded me that the team (and in fact, most game journalists/reviewers/etc) forget that a lot of people don't get access to every game and game system under the sun. I've never owned a Vista/PS3, so, having those cut from the PSPlus program means nothing to me. I also only buy maybe 2-3 console games a year, so having something like Bloodborne come to PSPlus is awesome, as that's something I kind of wanted to try because of all the positive buzz, but I wouldn't normally spend my money on buying it since it's also the type of game that I would normally hate.

Also, concerning Zeppelins: the Hindenburg disaster pretty much destroyed their reputation. The Germans did use Zeppelins briefly for recon at the very start of the war, but the realization that plane technology made the Zeppelins obsolete and that they were hideously vulnerable meant that they were very quickly retired.
