I cant wait to not read this catwoman novelisation

This issue has started on my Chromebook again, though the laptop hasn't been updated, at least to my knowledge.

Being logged in or not, running every extension, no extensions (even no HTTPS Everywhere or UBlock) or running in incognito doesnt appear to make a difference with the new video player. 9 seconds in, the video will stop and I am met with the black screen and loading video loop animation. If I attempt to resume a video I have watched on another machine, it will pick up resuming, but then just stop 9 seconds later.

If its an issue with the OS and not the browser, I think maybe to 10 or 20 of us total that use Chrome OS to access Giant Bomb might be out of luck.

I pressed the very handy "Report a Problem" button on the Rick and Morty VRodeo, thankfully THAT button still works while the video doesn't!

EDIT: It seems to only be HTML5 player, Progressive works fine.

Trying to watch the first premium Solo queue video on my Chromebook. In the past couple of days its been unable to play any giant bomb video for more than the first 9 seconds, where it goes blank and reverts to the giant premium play arrow, with the timeline of the video sticking at 00:09.

Attempting to resume the video just begins the video again. I have tried it with all extensions on, then disabling typical problem-causing extensions like Adblock, KB SSL Enforcer, HTTPS Everywhere and Ghostery, but to no avail. Trying it on incognito mode and with other premium videos and non-premium videos, the issue happens again.

God damn you, internet. For years I've been hearing that same police radio sound from GTA in movies, tv shows etc and I always thought of it as some Chicago "find George Kane" clip and no, its been right here on Giant Bomb all along.

Finally got to use the last of my trade in cards at Gamestation before the shit hit the fan, though the guys working there didn't seem to have a clue what was going on, so felt sort of bad breaking the news to them.

Sadly its been a few years since I've thrown serious money down in a GAME store, it seemed to go from a great knowledgeable retailer to lying salespeople hunting for preorders way too fast.
