Steps to reproduce, enter "status" in search field, select game starting with status like "Status: Insane". You now see plain text status info. Might just be an Apache rewrite that's not an exact match, but should be.
As a consumer I hate this decision, but it's not surprising. Most digital services still rake 30% on all sales, and even if less people buy Ubi games, it's probably more money for them in the long run. The reason we don't see digital games cheaper than retail, is because service provider commissions hit about as hard as physical manufacturing and distribution costs. This is not a justification for Ubi's decision, just trying to offer some context.
Thanks guys, these are perfect! I think we are set on games to play together for a while, lots of suggestions I had forgotten about, and a lot of these suggestions, I've never played. Wish I could mark all these responses as the best.
@brandondryrock: Yes, I forgot to mention, but we pretty much played those games to death. Played them like crazy, and someday we will blow the dust off of our plastic instruments, but still no itch to go back.
@beerbaron17: Actually we did try Lego Marvel on PS4, and we both had some issues with it. We found it very buggy (got stuck in walls multiple times that required a reboot), and the puzzles and pathing seemed arbitrary.
We have a lot of games to try though, going to start with Sonic 2, Trine, and Tomb Raider Legacy. Thanks for all the responses!
@csl316: Are you sure? I remember Sonic multiplayer modes just being competitive races to get through the level as fast as possible in a split-screen view.
