So he knocked points off in the review because he's not that great at the game, fails sections, and has to do them again?

So in his opinion, Super Meat Boy must be the worst game of all time, right? Same with Dark Souls?

Super Meat Boy is built around finishing levels without dying, as quickly as possible. They're gruesomely hard. But the game wants you to die, because that's the type of game it is. Uncharted 3 attempts to be a cinematic experience, and if you die (which will happen, because you shouldn't have to be a 1337-hardcore-gamer to play U3) you're taken out of that cinematic experience. Thus, what the game sets out to be is somewhat disturbed (if that's the right word) by the way you play it. Super Meat Boy, not the case.

But again: an 8 out of 10 is a great score. And it's not like anyone with a PS3 isn't going to buy this game this year. ;)

I thought the joke would be that it's actually releasing January 2013. Because in the next six months seems shockingly fast for a Square-Enix game these days.

@anarchcorp: There is no locking out. They're selling the content that's already on the disc, just in smaller-sized bits. Read it properly before trying to rush to be one of the first to comment. ;)

So... what's your favorite icon among all those great quest-icons? The Toaster deserves some recognition for her work, and I'm personally particularly fond of the Duder, It's Over icon.  Regular Dave in cape is good, Cartoon Dave in Cape is better.

Though the Due North icon... who can say no to a Canadian mountie?

The BBC's up to episode three now, and you Americans got the first episode this past weekend - so what do you guys think? Amy Gillan's awesome indeed, and Matt Smith's an excellent Doctor. Just not sure if I liked the Power Ranger-like Daleks, but if they combine to form a giant Zord or something, I'd be okay with them.

Might be a bit of an odd question, but I'm looking to print a A1-poster-sized version of the Dalek-poster seen in last week's episode of Doctor Who. The BBC has it on their site, but I'm worried it's too small in that version and it'll look horribly blown up when printed out bigger. So... anyone have any idea how it'll look A1-sized? Any tips on making it look better?
