I just started having this issue a few days ago. The uBlock Origin element picker is the only thing working for me, so I will do that for now, but I had my adblocker disabled on this site because a while ago it was causing issues.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Or if it has to be an actual Mario game, then 3D World.

@rorie: Here is another video. This one shows how frequently it happens.

I am using chrome. Here is a video of it happening.

As you can see the volume control gets pushed out of the way. So if I was about to click to change the volume and it moved, I would either pause the video or click on the progress bar.

Sometimes when watching a live video the player thinks it is caught up, and sometimes it thinks it is slightly behind. This causes the skip to live button to pop up and go away unpredictably. The problem is that the volume control is to the right of the skip to live button, so if the skip to live button comes up or goes away it moves the location of the volume controls. If I have the volume control up when this happens, they disappear. It has also caused me to accidentally pause videos, or even click on the progress bar, when I click just after the volume control disappears.

I don't know if this could be considered a bug, but it is an ongoing problem for me.

Could the volume control be moved to the left of the skip to live button, in order to prevent this from happening? Or perhaps the location of the skip to live button could always be set, while it is not always visible, so when it pops up it doesn't move the volume controls.

The really bad thing about this is that Best Buy's program is better than Amazon's. The GCU works with any new game, which means I can wait for a game to come out and take a look at it before buying it. Even if the game has been out long enough to be discounted you can still get 20% off that price, as long as it is a new copy. Unless something has changed with Amazon's program, it only works for preorders.

I emailed Rorie, and he fixed it. It still says that I am on the free trial under my account details, but I am now able to download videos.

I just extended my Premium Subscription because it is currently on sale. On the confirmation page it says "You are currently on a free trial of the Giant Bomb Premium Yearly plan. Your first billing date is September 26, 2018." It also says this on my billing page.

I checked to see if this was just displayed in error by trying to download a video, and when I click the button it says "Users in a free trial can't download video."

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I just remembered that I have a $5 gift card to BestBuy that is expiring next week. Combined with the gamers club discount I can get the game for $42.99 before tax. I think I might skip the PC version for now. Maybe I will pick it up for PC later, if I want to replay it, on a Steam sale.
