About Me

Gamer chick brought into the fold, by my dad, from the first day i can remember. He loved the pong console and had talked about getting a Pac-man cocktail table; those things still hold a bit of je ne sais quoi for me. They were always in the oddest places, like a smoke filled side room of a dubious fried chicken restaurant. Well, around 1980 (maybe '82?, who can tell, i was about three) he came home with a magical machine that, mind-blowingly, played more than one game! (*whoa*)

The sexy fake wood panel and dark plastic of the Atari 2600 may as well have been an alter in the house for as much attention as it got.

Shit only went down hill after that. We tried to get every console that came out and, between a large neighborhood of kids and like-minded adults, we succeeded in ruining the chances of any youth soccer or baseball teams in our area. To hell with "outside". It took many years of rehabilitation but "outside" and I are bro's again. We hang out on occasion but I still have my faith and I wouldn't do anything to upset the lord. Video games are fickle gods, after all.
