I love me some achievements. However, I'm not against playing a game without them either. I'm not here to list games that Nobody got credit for playing (MGS4, Resistance, and so on). I'm listing games that have achievements on Another platform. Just a matter of betting on the wrong horse. And it Sucks. Here, in no particular order are some games you'd never know I beat.
I played this game on the PC. I had just purchased a new computer and wanted to break it in with F.E.A.R. 2. This game doesn't have Steam or Games for Windows achievements. Man, that was depressing.
Played this one on the PS3. This was just on the eve of "every game shall have trophies" so it was extra depressing to beat this on multiple levels. With the ultimate sith edition now out, this game almost feels unfinished. I would've much rather waited to play this when it was actually done than play it and get the bare campaign and no trophies.
I rented this on the 360. Beat the first mission. My console red-ring'd. Went back to Blockbuster same day and rented PS3. Let me back up. I LOVED Condemned Criminal Origins. Got all the achievements, glitched and all. So now, on my profile it looks like I played one mission of the sequel and went "EFF THIS NOISE".... this is false. I loved them both... even if Bloodshot's ending made me lol hard.
Rock Band 2 game out on the PS3 and had trophies Before this game. Inexcusable.
I played so much of this on the PS3. You have no idea. I'd have the full thousand 3 times over. It physically Hurts me that I didn't get the 360 version instead.
I played Both of these to completion on God mode back on the PS2. While admittedly, it's hard to justify a last generation game being on this list as the idea of trophies was far and away at that point, it angers me that now Someone will have some trophy titled "You're A God" ... and I won't.
They rereleased this game on the PC. I played the Xbox version to death. I got the PC version free with my graphics card ... yes I rebeat it for the achievements and so would you.
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This one makes me rage so badly! I bought this game at launch from retail only to find out like the Next day that Steam was like "oh hey, we have achievements." I have a level 30. Yes I played that game THAT much. I'm not saying it's good but now Giantbomb will never know my pain. D:
Just played it before it had trophies. Sucks.
The PS3 is a Better console. Microsoft is a Better company. My point? Sony telling Giantbomb to take down the trophies made me rage so badly. Now no one will know I beat Dead Space, Killzone 2, Rock Band 2, Prototype, INfamous, and so on and so on. Truly this IS the age of pics or it didn't happen. Truly.
