So being the jobless idiot that I am, there's no real way I could actually play 10 games that came out this year. Because I don't have that kind of money. I did of course have enough for a Nintendo Switch but that ruined my wallet like nobody knows. Shit is expensive as hell, especially in this high-tax province.
That's not the point here, this list is just showing what I was able to play and how it all ranked out. There will actually be some 2017 games in here!
10. Yes indeed I played Fallout 3 this year. It's at the bottom of the list because I kinda haven't felt like playing after I had some good fun. I still love this game and I was able to play a better version of it with A Tale of Two Wastelands.
9. The randomizer I used when I decided to play this year made the whole experience extremely fun and fresh. It also was very entertaining and this is one of my favourite games anyway.
8. While I had to suffer through the whole main campaign to do something I don't remember, this game was really fun to go back to. It was especially better because I played with my friend Kyle the whole time and it was fun to be idiots and try to get really good gear.
7. Decided to play it since why not, I remember it being fun. It very much was, being a super-powered dude flying and jumping around a virtual Steelport was great. Nothing much else to say.
6. Huh, so far down the list? Why what's happening? Well while I had an extremely relaxing time with this game, I had many problems with it. Weapon breaking, the BULLSHIT lighting that happens and if you can't campfire you have to wait for a million years not to get smitten to death by bullshit.
Besides that it really is a great game to go exploring in, I basically went around not giving a shit that maybe Ganon was gonna murder the world. That's really what I like best about this. However I never actually finished this game. A rough time was happening in my personal life and I just lost interest in playing anymore.
I hope to go back to it someday and explore around, look at Gerudo women, maybe see if I can find the master sword without any hints and such. But yeah. #6.
5. It is a bit odd that I put this above Zelda, but I did actually finish this game and continue. I was very excited to have this and it was very fun. I know others would get tired of the battling and yeah the fact you can't control everybody sucks but I enjoyed my time doing battles with all the jobs. However the game does run out of content character wise incredibly fast and if you aren't into the game, the post game is completely not worth going through.
Either way I played a ton of this game and it's #5 oh yeah.
4. After playing the third game, I bought the 4th as soon as I beat it. My interest started because Stardew Valley is amazing and I wanted more. Turns out I think Rune Factory is a better game than Stardew. The combat is more fluid and fun, and well I guess that's it. Farming and such is basically same thing. Either way I loved this game and the characters and played this game for a very long time. It looks dark but I hope I can play a 5th Rune Factory some day.
3. Hey I like grinding for some reason, guess what game is perfect for that. The best Disgaea game, just in all ways really. Plus I can have Valvatorez.
2. Very very close to #1, I love Persona 5. It goes back to a darker type story and reminds me of 3 so much. The style this game has blew me away and I love all the characters and the world. I played this game so late some nights, that NEVER happens usually these days (wow old person).
1. Indeed my favourite game I played this year was this. It took me a very long time to have the chance to be able to play it and I heard good things. Turns out good things was this amazing experience that not many games can replicate. If you haven't played, I strongly recommend it. It'll take you through a ride, especially if you don't actually know what the game truly is. I wont ruin it because it is hard not to with this game because it's just amazing. I also went very late (6am or so) just being glued to this game.
I haven't worked up the courage to play the second one which I bought, I'm hoping to save it for a good time. Either way I think this is one of my favourite games ever.
