I feel that this little gem has gotten lost in the backwash of Firewatch. Funny enough, this might be a more grown up game than Firewatch though it seems like a childrens game.
Well, my guess is that many of these functions where already in there, but this is a way for them to force everyone to patch before they get their first impression of the system.
A bit late to the party but I do have some insight. PayPal is avoided to almost all cost when setting up online stores. PayPal had a very bad rep for holding back payments for every little complaint from customers. This is of course good for the customer but is hell for the store and i have personal exprience from helping store trying to get payment for goods delivered. Let just say that from people in the online store "community" noone is surpriced that PayPal is causing troubles.
Because if someone has misunderstood something in the beginning of a thread in a forum. I can't go in and correct it two weeks later, hell I can't even correct it five minutes later on page two of the thread since hardly anyone reads page two. Also, reports to be written for people that are nervous about money and future :)
They all did fuck up and the way they are handling the bad publicity is on par with Ocean Markettings (yes he spelled it like that) giant turd of a reaction.
There are a few facts that we know. No1: systems sell at a loss, so nintendo wont be making any money on the hardware sales for a while. No2: Pre orders has been higher than for the Wii, which had the biggest launch selling numbers so far in history. GamesStop has sold 1.2 million in pre sales and have 500 000 ready for today. Wii U has sold out everywhere in the world where they have taken pre-orders. In sweden, where it launches on the 30th, Pre orders are still on but only for the second wave of deliveries. That wave hit the big online stores at the 6th of december, so Nintendo seems to keep up with frequent deliveries even to suck a small market as the nordic market.
Never thought about it like that. WiiU plus a PC will probably land you the best chance of playing almost all the goodies you want. Besides, the news that the Wii U will be sold att a lead loss is interesting because it will probably put the new Playstation and XBox with insanely high prices if they want to be even double the power of the Wii U.
