@notdavid: let's celebrate your new found freedom first dudor!
I think it's the best fitting song, as it's a video game related song (title screen of Worms World Party) and sung by a duo from Denmark, consisting of a gay and a straight guy! They actually had several songs which involved the topic. However, I don't think that I can help you with your original problem, but if you can't tell them directly, you could also write it in a letter, I guess. Sometimes it's just easier to put thoughts into written words. Anyway, I wish you all the best!
I was wondering if any of you knew other co-op jrpgs like the good old Secret of Mana - I mean across all generations and platforms? I can't really think of any, but I would like to get down with some jrpg co-op action again.
I think the Piranha Bytes is better than most American developers (including Bethesda) at designing believable fantasy realms. The towns in most other games have huge roads and are plotted out nicely - which is not the way a medieval role model would suggest.
Anyway, I am looking forward to the game and I will buy it if the first reviews are alright. Skyrim was a big let-down for me, for its atmosphere was non-existent, as basically no quest or action had any impact on the world. And the combat was the worst ever (played as hardcore mage) since most spells were unbalanced or useless altogether. I have higher hopes for Risen 2 but we'll see...
That's what I was about to say. There I people who I played with online for years who I don't really care about. This false sense of community seems to apply on all levels of the web, at least for me.
I played though Gothic 1 & 2 about 8 times each, about 30 times through Diablo 2, 'completed' Morrowind about 4 times, KotOR a couple of times, Halo 1 like 10 times. I also replayed Zelda and Mario games many many times. I am sure that there are many more that I forgot (edit: like my all time SNES favorite Terranigma)
