I started off loving this new season so much but as it's going on I'm growing a little tired. It's dragging along at a snail's pace and I really want to see old Cooper back. The Dougie stuff was funny at first but now it's just become farcical and unbelievable at this point that no one has taken him to a doctor or something. This feels like something that would feel better binge watched as a big 18 hour movie. I plowed through those first four episodes and now that I'm having to wait week to week watching something that moves this slow it's starting to become just a little frustrating.
I was playing GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas when they came out and I was 12 to 15 then. I played them in secret at a friend's house because my mother would never let me play M rated games. Kids these days grow up a lot faster because of their access to the internet so chances are that 16 year old has already seen sex and other things online. I'd let him play it, he'll be fine.
I backed Yooka-Laylee for $15. Banjo-Kazooie is a game that is near and dear to my heart so I had to back that game. I don't love it and I haven't gotten more than 6 hours in but I got a $40 game for $15 and my name is in the credits. I'm happy I helped try to bring that genre back and I have faith than their next game will be much much better.
If it's anything like the previous MK games or Injustice (and I think it is) then it'll be a great place to start. Pulling off special moves are super easy in these games but the overall gameplay is very difficult to master. They're a great starting point.
A documentary about someone going back to their hometown to visit someone they were a Big Brother to 15 years earlier to see how they turned out. Fascinating doc, I was glued to my seat for the entire 2 and a half hours.
I've been in therapy for a little under a month now because my social anxiety got to a point where I couldn't normally function. It's been slow but it has been helping.
