Games I've Finished 2015: Can't be as bad as last year edition

List items

  • Really fun NES style platformer with some modern gameplay updates. The last couple levels were pretty savage though.

  • I thought the game was all right. Probably could have done with less collectibles and the demon parts were kinda lame. Putting it out as a 60 dollar retail product was probably a death sentence.

  • How do you feel about matching 3 for eventual naked cartoon pussy? The puzzle part is surprisingly interesting. The "dating" part not so much, but the dialogue is usually pretty fun though.

  • It's a Tales of Symphonia spin-off game, so you probably know what you're getting into going in. Kinda weird that the characters from the previous game were level locked when they did join up, but I guess they wanted you to focus more on your monsters.

  • I really liked this game. Something about the methodical pace and the crazy x-ray kill cams did it for me. Got 100% on sniper elite difficulty, and I think I finally have a better understanding how the tick marks on a scope work!

  • Neat, in the holy shit they made an fmv adventure game in 2014 sort of way. It's amazing how crisp said video looks, if only because when those sort of games were the shit, they looked like shit. Could've lived without the parts where it was a stealth game, or dodging lasers, but I can't deny not enjoying this for the novelty.

  • Been playing this off and on since it came out and finally managed to finish it. I liked it, but man, that 4th dungeon was an asshole. I do wish there was a way to expand your inventory and amount of subpersona that you could hold. Multi-hit physical attacks were pretty overpowered.

  • Liked it, but the maps seemed a little too big to play Hotline Miami the fun way, which is just running around like a madman and knifing everything. Once I started bating everything to doorways, I progressed a lot faster.

  • Finished the arcade mode with everyone, excluding Sin and Ramlethal and watched the lengthy pseudo-anime story mode. It looks fucking amazing and plays smooth as hell. I wish they could have found a more elegant solution to putting the story mode into the regular game, but I'm kinda into the fiction. It was at least presented in a more visually stimulating way than in say, the Persona fighting game.

  • Dumb, fun throwback shooter. Carving people up with a sword is a good time.

  • What a weird game, but hey, it was less than a dollar on that flash sale.

  • Did you ever outcook someone so hard it blew their clothes right off? You should try it sometime.

  • I really liked the Lovecraftian setting, but some of the bosses were real pricks though. I have to run a lot of chalice dungeons to get the platinum though.

  • Well, I loved Furious 7 and it was free so I decided to give a try. I actually really liked it so I think I might have to give at least the first Forza Horizon a go at some point. The driving line really helps since I've always been more of an arcade racer sort of guy. Kind of bummed that Dom's Charger doesn't lift off when you burn out though.

  • Here's Johnny is probably the perfect fatality. PC launch woes aside, I've been having a good time with it. Still a long ways to go if I want to get everyone's arcade ending, but I've finished the main story. Seemed way shorter than 9 and Injustice for sure, but it was still pretty cool. Could've lived without the qte though.

  • Not a bad game, overall. Felt like I did a fair amount of select all/ click to make target dead though. Big fan of curse of the adragon though.

  • Well, after 108 hours, I think it's pretty safe to say I have a Geralt-shaped hole in my heart. I could go for a few more rounds of Gwent though.

  • What a weird thing. Will be a bummer if there's never any more of it.

  • Can't say I was a fan. The first half was stupid simple and the second half conveyed information in a strange way that I couldn't get behind. Rewiring those robots was a real pain in the ass too.

  • Would've been great if they scrubbed the bat-tank parts.

  • Cool game. Got the joyless ending. I may have enjoyed the wrestling part a little too much.

  • Jesus christ, why do you have to go to new game+ before the main character voices his lines?

  • Finished a lunatic run. Not a whole lot felt different other than Frederick being the only character that can actually survive a hit for the first 5 battles or so. Eventually the galeforce daughteru squad just wrecked everything and anything until the last 2 battles or so.

  • Finished all missions and side ops after dumping over a 100 hours into it. I had a good time, but I wish there was more actual missions than just [hard] mode ones.

  • Still a fan of these games. I didn't talk to my crew enough to finish all their storylines though, so that was kind of a bummer. I went all in on cyberware and punched the hell out of everything with hand spurs.

  • After somehow finishing that dream theatre song on expert, I made it through the career. Other than the exports most of my songs carried over, though you do have to download them all manually. I think I need a new guitar controller though.

  • They certainly make you want another game with that ending. I'm doing my best to restrain myself from buying the second chapter right away. I'm broke and I got a backlog to work down.

  • Replaying an old fave. Physics and AI still bug out in hilarious ways, but still fun to mess around with. This is a large casino.

  • Fantastic game. Kinda wish there was a better fast travel system than dying though.

  • The tag-team levels and yoma nest are a pretty nice addition.

  • I think they relied too much on cameos. That and the Mira shit made no sense to me whatsoever.
