There are a number video game series or franchises that get new installments while others don't for one reason or another. Is there any series or franchise that you feel should get a new installment? If yes, which franchise or series do you feel deserves a new installment?

For me I want to see a new Metroid game, F-Zero, Megaman The original series and X series.

@periahdark: Yeah I would count Pokemon. Although a person needs both versions or have access both to catch all the Pokemon. I did get one version of a game when it came out then got the "enhanced" one sometime later. I only did with that with Gen 2. Gen 1 had yellow. Gen 3 & 4 I have the initial version but I wanted to get the "enhanced" version as well.

I asked because there is a couple of games I already own but are coming out with new editions. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Injustice are the ones I'm thinking of. Lords of Shadow came out with an Ultimate Edition that has the original game, the 2 DLC and an HD version of Mirror of Fate. I already played the game and the DLC I'm thinking of buying so I can get Mirror of Fate. & I sadly don't own a 3DS. Buying Injustice really depends on whether or not the Ultimate Edition gives me the costumes that require to play the ios version of the game and to get all the other DLC costumes and characters.

I own two copys of Black Ops because for some reason the first copy wouldn't load one certain level. I was either half way or 3/4 way through the game. So I bought another so I can beat the game.

Owning the same game on multiple consoles or an a console and pc seems to be a lot more common than I thought.

OH I almost forgot. I own the first three Zero games on the GBA & in the Zero Collection. I couldn't find Zero 4 and I get all 4 games in one thing.

I'm wondering has anyone ever bought a normal edition of a game when it first came out then sometime later when they announce a new edition of a game like Game of The Year edition, that comes with all the game's DLC, buy that copy? If yes, which game was it?

I'm excited for this game. Wonder who else they'll add? Red Hood would be cool.

I have heard the name Elder Scrolls a number of times in the past and I never really bother to look into it. I recenlty saw the game again while I was watching a countdown about weird glitches and saw the game on Amazon. Here is what I'm wondering. What is Elder Scrolls about? From what I can tell its a nice looking action rpg. It looks interesting and I'm wondering what the story is with the series. I'm thinking about picking up the games but i want to know more about it the series before I do. & in case anyone was wondering which ones I was thinking about picking up, it would be the 4th and 5th games mainly because they're on the 360 and I have a 360.

A while back I asked about few games to see wheather or not the games are worth playing. One of the games was Saint's Row The Third. So far, a number of people have recommended playing the game. It looks good and fun. & by the sounds of the critics it was a good game. I noticed that this game was the third in the Saint's row game and I was wondering were the previous 2 games good or not? I remember hearing about the games years ago and I couldn't remember if they were good or not.

@Ravenlight: On the 360, I've played Gears of War, Red Dead Redemption both are third person shooters. I love both those games. I've also played L.A. Noire, pretty fun game. I've played Crackdown 2 and Lost Planet 2 and those games to me rank from ok, and not really liking the games. I think if I play it more, I'll find a part that I like.

@supamon: Thats what Im starting to figure out. Call of Duty Modern Warefare was given to me as a gift and I just tried it out.

I really don't mind sci-fi shooters. The Sci-fi games come out with interesting weapons and interesting gameplay. I mentioned I played Halo 3. I heard of Rage, it sounds interesting. I have defintely heard of Bioshock before. I never bother to pick up the game when it first came out because at the time I didn't own a Xbox 360. I want to pick up the Halo games but I need money and I have never heard of the game Syndicate. Some of the other games that were mentioned earlier sound interesting as well. I think a few people mentioned Crysis 2. I'm not 100% sure who brought it up on this forum.
