@finaldasa: There's ways to deal with DDoS attacks. They're expensive but I'm sure Microsoft can afford it. Basically they're just massive servers at the door that eat bad packets and let good ones through.
@df: I'm really sorry! There's really not much we can do about China. You get a recaptcha because there are active attackers on your network. The CDN issue is also nothing we can fix. We're at the mercy of the Great Firewall of China.
