Yeah man, I've been watching your profile to see when that will get updated. It's very odd. I hope it gets resolved, you earned those points! (Sorry if I got your hopes up by bumping this topic!)
I'm noticing things like "Barbershop Tenor" and "Dr. Ernald P. Whimple" in the Concepts section for this game. Aren't these to be classified as Characters, not as concepts? Unless there is some overarching concept of "Dr. Ernald P. Whimple" that relates to things like Critical Hits and Multiple Protagonists that I'm just not seeing. ;)
Takashi Nagasako (Given Name Surname) has two pages, one with his name in Western Style, and one in Traditional Japanese Style (Surname Given). It seems that this site is writing Asian names in the Western Style, so Nagasako Takashi (basically empty) should be merged into Takashi Nagasako .
Don't know if it's mentioned yet, but on pages for all concepts (example: http://www.giantbomb.com/explosion/92-309/ ) "Explosion is a video game concept", the word "concept" links to /concept/, not /concepts/, so it gives a 404. Just a quick template fix I would think, so enjoy an easy one for once!
I liked MC Kids, even if the controls were a little loose/aggravating. I don't think I ever beat it when I was little though. I thought there would be a hamburger in there somewhere, but through watching videos online, I never saw one... But if anyone can think of one (Hamburgler doesn't count! ;) ), then you should add it!
I think that these characters should get a single entry, then specific descriptions of their roles in the game, like you said. That a) makes more connections between games and b) makes it so there aren't 20 Medusas when you go to add one to a list, who are all basically the same character (e.g. If you have a concept list "Snakes for Hair", you don't want the list to be Medusa, Medusa, Medusa, Medusa, Medusa, Medusa....)
An explosion into a true all-reaching resource of video game information and relationships, creating a vast web of interconnected informational nodes like the gaming world has never quite seen before.
