Im sick today. Got a pretty heavy case of the flu.
So i thought that i'd play some games to pass the time, but its not every type of game that i would want to play on a day like this.

FPS, Third Person action, RPGs are to heavy for my brainpower today.
So i actually went back to my DS and played some New Super Mario.
I also played some Monkey Island 2.

What types of games, or rather games do you like to play when your a little under the weather.
Got any tips for me ?

Is it just me, or is snacks, or really anything you eat in the US just a tad sweeter than the stuff you get in Europe ?

And while i got your attention. What is your favorite European snack?

Any thoughts ?
Shoot !

Been trying out the Ps3 demo for Enslaved: Journey to the west. And i must say i was impressed.
The fluidity of the animation, and the grace by the main protagonist Monkey moved with, and the simply but fun combat system makes me all giddy inside with excitment.
But what I think will draw me in, is the relationship between Monkey and his "slave-driver" Trip.
Their relationship reminds me of the beautiful connection that the Prince and Eleka had in the Prince of Percia 2008 reboot.
Many found that game to be flawed, but I found the story and the good natured back-and-fourth between Eleka and The Prince to be reason enough to play onwards.

Likewise I hope that the gameplay in Enslaved will hold up, and that the relationship between Monkey and Trip will as interesting as the Prince and Elekas.

October.. you can't come soon enough !

@NekuSakuraba: Banjo-Kazooie is a great game, but you have to know what youre getting in to. Its NOT a platformer. it has platform elements, but its a Build-a-car-thingy and do some driving/platforming with said thingy.

If you want to try something else, and are not affraid to try something alitte cutesy. Try Viva Pinata: Trouble in paradise
Great great game

@NekuSakuraba:
your welcome to your opinion ! And i share your sceptisism (is that the right spelling for that??)..
And im not sure that it will fit in a "real" game. But as for now im interested in what they make for it.

But i don't think we will fully ever "leave" the traditional controller, but it felt refreshing to try something else, and at that, something more responsive than the waggle-fest that is the Wii
