@kevinwalsh: I too started listening in the early 2000s and realized in hindsight it definitely wasn't the best era for hiphop. However I did find some rappers who were legit good like Lupe Fiasco and the LOX (Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek Louch) and those guys carried me through high school. Years later and I'm actually going back to those same guys and listening to their new stuff, which is tight. Lupe I think had a downpoint in the early 2010s but came back with some really good stuff with Tetsuo & Youth onwards. Also going back a bit before my time and listening to some real 90s stuff with that boom bap sound i sorta missed out on (Wu-Tang, Gangstarr).
shoot, i'm a couple bombcasts behind. So he'll at least be around to do a separate voicemail dumptruck show? I did like him on the bombcast for that nice chaos factor which feels a bit missing lately, or almost like it stays contained to the beginning of each show. and I also liked him for keeping Jan's segueways in check (I am a Jan fan though too lol).
Like OP I want that gen 4 Supra. But I'm glad I at least get to daily drive a 2000 Celica GT. I'm at about 250 000km - planning on doing a suspension overhaul this spring. Hopefully the bolts aren't on too tight lol but I bet they will be.
Got a Zotac AMP edition GTX 1060 (6gb) for $323 + tax. I really held out as long as I could (I have a 560 ti…) and sadly this was the best deal I could find thanks to the cryptominers. $323 CAD is basically launch price and it's been out for like a year and a half now!
Got two copies of Battlefield 1 Revolution off Origin for me and my brother ($13 each). We bought a PS4 copy at launch but we thought we'd try out PC now that we have a gaming laptop and a desktop PC with a 1060.

And Club C85 Reebok Classics for $72 ' cause I'm about that sneaker life (not gaming related, I know, but I felt compelled to throw that in there.)
As someone who has been playing since BF1942, I think this is a good game.
Yes there are glitches and the game can be a bit buggy, but I wouldn't quite call it a botched release the way BF4 or Battlefront 2 was. The day 4 survival mode in Grand Operations makes me feel like I'm watching (or rather playing) Game 7 sudden death overtime hockey. It's truly thrilling.
