Red Dead Revolver also wasn't nearly as hyped as Redemption, and came out to little fanfare.

You can get "safehouses" in various towns, like in GTA. Also, you have a "camp site" you can set up to regenerate some ammo and fast travel to any towns you've been to. Not sure about the businesses, but I'd guess not.
@UltimateRonin: Stuff like this never really goes up at midnight the day of. There's rumors of it being pushed into early evening/late afternoon, so who knows when it'll actually be available.

I also understand I don't have to buy the DLC(which will be pretty damn easy now that I got rid of the game), but even continuing to play without the DLC, I feel like that'd still be supporting a company that I've quite frankly had enough of.
