Holy fuck, this movie was so boring and crappy. Just finished viewing it and I'm speechless. I've been avoiding it for a long time now but I couldn't escape it anymore. When I first heard of it and knew that Roland Emmerich was going to do it I could practically name every scene. 
 
"Will there be a crazy over the top guy?",  Check
"Will there be some imminent disaster discovered by some scientist we follow through the movie?" Check
"Will the president of United States make a epic speech?". Check
"Will we get a lot of scenes of children crying?" Check
"Will the solution to the problem be over the top stupid ridiculous?" Check
 
Godd dammit just pass the torch over to someone else who wants to do disaster effect movies, Independence day was barley watchable. No wait it wasn't. At least Cloverfield tried something new. If you're gonna watch a Roland Emmerich movie make sure that at least you haven't payed for it.
