To me it's not so much the fact that it's an implausible situation as it is that it's an implausible situation that the developers are hyping up to be a completely realistic and possible scenario.

I actually don't care much for fan service myself, but in HotD it's so gratuitous, obvious, and shameless, it's actually pretty funny and hard to hate the show for it.

Honestly, it's the whites that seem to get the most offended of the word "nigger." Every gamer of black decent I regularly play games with (and I know quite a few) don't get all up in arms about the utterance of the word. Some find it offensive, sure, but not to the extent that they would go off on a rant about it.
