@KaosAngel: I don't already own Forza 3, so the game being well-regarded is a good enough reason to buy it anyway. Sure, it sucks for those whose loyalty to the series made them buy it day one. But this is a good deal for anyone who hasn't gotten it yet (like me), or anybody who has since bought an Xbox and is sick of waiting for GT5.
Btw, in the month that has passed since I heard about this, I'd completely forgotten about it. Please excuse me if I'm overlooking any details.
We would all either A) Have a lot of money that never got spent, or B) Have spent that money on another hobby. Personally I would be reading a lot more.
I started Tuesdays with Morrie on recommendation from a friend and like it pretty well. Also I'm technically reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but I've already read the original work and feel like the zombie humor, as great as it is, isn't enough to keep me going.
I spent all last weekend playing Scott Pilgrim, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I don't usually even like that kind of game, but it's really good and probably better if you've got friends to play along with.
