These are the games I played in 2016 and enjoyed in roughly the order I would rank them. Ones that are on my goty list will not get new words to go with them. I might be forgetting something if I remember it I'll put it in here.
A.Ma.Zing. Definitely one of my favorite things this year by a longshot.

The combat in this game is still kinda busted, but it's an improvement over the first game in just about every way. I finished this the last two fights blow ass in very specific ways. Otherwise it's good but I don't get why people hold it up as being so much better than the rest of the series. I paid a lot of money for this and played like 30 minutes of it it seems good.
I only played a few hours of this but it was a good time.
I still think the matchmaking sucks as of the last time I did solo queue, but it's a good game despite that.
Big Bo is very deaf but this is a cool game.

It's fine
I bounced off the game relatively quickly, but I do enjoy the fact that it actually came west and maybe DQ is alive out here again??
Playing this game was completely miserable but I enjoyed gaining a new appreciation for watching other people suffer through this piece of garbage.
