@jesna: Venom is very creative and fun to play. To really excel with him you need to be on point with carcass raid and stinger aim pressure during block strings to lock opponents down. Charged sonic boom and flash kick motions.

I would also suggest checking out Sin. He has great normals and hits like a freight train. His execution is fairly easy and his food mechanic is simple to grasp once you see it in action.

www.keeponrock.in is a very useful tool that lets you search for matches between specific characters and/or players. It pulls videos from Japanese arcades.

GGs to everyone. Sorry, I forgot about about quakenet chat. I made a psn group party chat for awhile and had a discord going with Legend and Bloo. Next time I'll hop on quakenet. Maybe it would be cool to get a GB FG discord room going. People could still type and/or talk on mic. It's easy to drop in and out too since no one needs to host.

@technician: have you tried setting the aspect ratio to "just scan"?

I plan on setting up a player lobby in a couple hours for those interested. 9:30 est. I'll post the room details then.

With Revelator coming tomorrow, I thought I would try to host some GB casuals/info sessions a couple nights a week for those interested. If you are new to the franchise rather then point you to tutorial videos I would be willing to teach basics and answer questions people may have during casuals on the mic. Or if you just want to come and hang out in the virtual lobby and play soccer or go fishing that's cool also!

The lobby can do the SFV system where everyone spectates and waits to play or you can split up and have multiple games going in the same lobby. Options!

I've always heard people say they want to play Guilty Gear but don't because it's too complex. It's true it has a lot of systems but you don't need to understand them all right away to have fun or be competitive. If enough new people come out skill levels will be close and that's when FGs are the most fun and easy to learn.

Anyway, I'll keep people updated and if anyone else wants to run casuals and stuff that's great. Just wanted to do something if no one else was.

Capcom needs to get their act together on informing and keeping deadlines for SFV. I will not buy another early season pass next year, that's for sure. Don't get me wrong, I like the fighting game but everything else around it is a let down.

On a more positive note, GG REVELATOR is out next week!

Hey I'll throw mine in. I was really surprised how much stuff you can do with snapmap. I was expecting the ability to only throw MP maps together but they give you a lot of tools to create everything from MP to SP campaign stuff.

I made sort of a playable set piece intro to a SP mission. WIth lots of fire and explosions of course. 6YXEQ3WM

Guile is sounding strong between being able to hold charge while walking forward and his v-trigger stuff. Sounds like it could be similar to Remy's stuff from 3s. He's always had great buttons. Where's that trailer Capcom?

Also after playing around with the Revelator demo I am actually interested in giving Guilty Gear a fair shot as well, maybe if there are 8 people on the GB forums that would want to play that game we could do a similar tournament later this summer.

I'll be down for GGXrdR and know 4 other GB people who may be down if they have the free time. I was busy on Sat and couldn't make the SFV tournament but if my schedule lines up better in the future I'll be down.
