My Top 10 Best Games: Honorable Mentions
These are some of the games I had in my list for the Top 10 but didn't make it.

If I made a Top 11 list, this would be #11. Everything leading up to this game made it look crap. By the time it was released I thought this game had no hope. I was wrong. With a thick, Lord of the Rings style world, excellent characters, voice acting, pacing and a fantastic soundtrack this game turned out to be the best of 09 and possibly this entire generation.
It's Half-life 2. Do I really need to explain why it was on this list?
Turned a 2D series into 3D with near perfection. Painfully hard for some developers(I'm looking at you Sega). Nintendo got it on there first try. A classic and fun to play even today, something not many N64 games can claim.
Yep, the original. The series might be a bit worn these days but when it first came out this is what every pokemon fan could have possibly wanted in a game.
I sunk 100 hours into this game. Huge, beautiful and much better combat than Morrowind but there were just too many issues to put it in the top 10.
While Abe's Oddysee was the first in the series there were a lot of flaws in the game. Mainly how insanely hard it was. This game helped that with a quick save system and just a smoother experience. I also liked the new kinds of enemies and the ability to posses a Glukkon. Overall, a better game but similar to the first.
The classic Mario Kart in my opinion. Many hours were put into this.
The game still looks amazing even to this day. A funny, adventurous game that falls a little flat right at the end.
Epic space battles at their finest. Watching the 15km long capital fight each other was almost as good as joining in the fighting yourself. What I would do for Freespace 3...
Excellent MechWarrior game. Some considered it to be dumbed down compared to the previous titles but I found it to have found the sweet spot in the series. I bought a $200 joystick after playing with game for 5 minutes with one. Worth every cent.
Persistent character progression, weapon unlocks, medals, and based in modern warfare. Sounds like some other game...
The Marine campaign is still one of the scariest parts of a game I've ever played. Each race felt unique and fun to play and the multiplayer was a blast. Shame the franchise went back to Rebellion and turned to crap.
A game that still looks amazing today and lets you feel like a Star Wars pilot. Fight at every major battle and then some. A must for any Star Wars fan.
