 I understand you need a Gold Account to race online against other players. However I was wondering if things like setting up a storefront and downloading
skins can be done on a silver account?

Nevermind - its only £3 - purchased.

Its good to see they are not leaving what made the past game great behind. I like how there are still people to talk to. One of the things I really enjoyed from the first game was exploring and talking to all the interesting characters. From hobos to racist stereotypes.

The konami site is bugged beyond belief for me

There's already an unofficial Fallout 2 online mod. That was awesome. It's good to hear something from an official developer.

Is anybody else watching it just for the cheesy acting and over the top engrish?

Pfff, the game looks nice however.

" this is a really good trailer... the vibe I get from it is a mix of Metal Gear Solid 4 and Mass Effect 2. I really hope they can pull it off and that they make the correct gameplay choices in order to make all those ideas shine.  This is gonna be First person or 3rd person ? Kinda rooting for 3rd person Shooter/melee because that main character needs to be seen in action. "
