E3 is officially dead. It was a long, slow death and it will be missed.

But, that ain't stoppin' these presentations, showcases, press conferences, developer directs, or whatever the hell else they're calling these things these days. It's a mess, so I'm here to keep track of it for you. I will keep this updated as best I can.

Here's what we know so far:

Guerrilla Collective Online

This will be the fifth annual showcase from Guerrilla Collective, which highlights indie games. There will also be a Steam page highlighting all of the games. They will also be doing an in-person event on June 7.

Future Games Show

For the last several years, GamesRadar has done a presentation that features mostly third-party games that aren't quite big enough to make it onto the bigger events. Usually a few cool things to find here.

Xbox Games Showcase / [REDACTED] Direct

You can cancel E3, but you can't kick Microsoft out of the Microsoft Peacock Theater. They're going to do a full showcase to show off all their new toys including Blizzard and Activision. Last year, the show was followed by a full hour presentation of Starfield. This year, they're teasing a deep dive into something else, which seems to be Call of Duty.

PC Gaming Show

Since 2015, PC Gamer has put on a sometimes funny sometimes cringe-worthy show hosted by Sean "Day[9]" Plott. If you're bad at math, that makes this the 10th one. Once again, it will immediately follow the Xbox presentations on Sunday.

Ubisoft Forward

Potentially setting a record for number of games in a single franchise in one showcase.

Wholesome Direct

The Wholesome Direct is typically an hour-long, rapid-fire showcase of dozens of indie games. Two years ago, it was co-hosted by Mary Kish. It usually directly follows the Guerrilla Collective show, but they haven't said that specifically yet this year.

@sombre: I'm not an engineer, but fwiw I think part of the problem is that it's only certain people that have the issue. For example, videos work fine for me in Chrome and Firefox. Never had any issues.

For those averse to Twitter, it appears Jan has resolved the issue with uploading videos to the site.

I've deleted both Inferno and Soul Edge, then renamed the Nightmare page to Soul Edge (with aliases of Inferno and Nightmare). Much of the info on this page needs to be redone (or moved to the Siegfried page). We used to have an "Evil Ryu" character page, but Evil Ryu is still just Ryu. Similarly, Nightmare is still Siegfried, just corrupted (from what I understand). So, the old Nightmare page (now Soul Edge) should be more about source of evil. The Siegfried page should have info about his normal form and his corrupted form.

Got a new concept page, so I'm looking for specific examples of this. The dialogue can be from the player character or the quest giver, but it needs to be a specific line of dialogue acknowledging that you already did the thing that the quest giver is telling you to do.

Feel free to edit the page yourself or just name something here and I'll add it.

I'm the one person who voted for EverQuest, but that's because I can't add this Geoguessr clone to the wiki. It's super well-made and I played countless rounds of it last year whenever I was bored.
