Every game for that system was such a big jump over what you could get on Playstation or N64. I played the crap out of every game I got for that system. My favorite hands was Skies of Arcadia.
It bugged me that there were all of these nifty tattoos available, yet virtually no clothing that let you see any but the face tattoo and the top of the chest tattoo. The leg, arm, and back tattoos might as well not have been included.
@valentin_rad: There are a few other problems with the display for games. The e-ink on the kindle takes a second or so to refresh, accompanied by some screen flashing as the device sort of shakes the e-ink particles like an etch-a-sketch to make sure you don't have ghost images of the previous display.
I like BlazBlue. It has good presentation, characters, art, etc., but I did get extremely frustrated when my girlfriend found one of the characters with a large area attack and just kept repeating that move over and over. I know someone who's good at this game would annihilate anyone with a strategy like that, but I'm mediocre at best, and most of the characters don't seem to have easy moves to counter aoe spam like that.
Excellent stream. I really like that this game has per-level difficulty settings, so I can tone it down on volcano and at the end stages where I just get annihilated on the higher settings. And I hadn't realized that my familiar was blocking the little throwing star looking shots, so I'm glad I watched. :)
