An action-adventure RPG with splendorous set pieces, and middling bones 0

What can I say. This is the first FF I have played since 7,8,9. College and post college life, time was not made to keep up with this series.I think FF16 has enough interesting gameplay and monster design that, mechanically it's a great time. Perhaps not as robust and complicated as a God of War, Devil May Cry, or Bayonetta, but enough is there and fights can get dicey enough that you can feel awesome and not just bored when duking it out. The music is excellent. Sure, you have to be onboard fo...

Godspeed you chromium beetle on rails! 0

begin the end!Thumper is one of the fiercest rhythm games to come out in a long time. Ever simple in controls it generates complexity and challenge from its visual and musical design while it delivers a sense of speed and rush that not only rhythm game fans should flock too, but any adrenaline junkie. If you desire your heart to pound, your pupils to dilate and, your reflexes to be tested, I urge you to give thumper a try.The closest comparison I can make to the intensity of thumper is step mani...

Rip and Tear, Until it is done 0

DOOM is truly a masterpiece when it comes to a first person shooter campaign. The rush this game delivers you as you gnaw your way through hundreds of demons, never stopping because the DOOM guy would be bored otherwise, the sense of tension is so lost from FPS. There is no, take a break and hide under cover. There is no, just hang back and the NPCs will do half the work. There is no, tired out military personal we need to care bout as they blab about their exposition we don't care. Why do we ...

Life is Strange, accepting loss 0

This review is 100% spoiler filled. You have been warned! My aim here is to talk more about the overall theme and message I interpreted from the game which is true for either ending you decide on. Through this providing the artistic merit this game has to offer if once is willing to think. This game is more than a surface level route experience. The very mechanics are premise of the game can be taken as commentary on games and on the thematic nature of the game itself. Without further delay, this...

Great Puzzle mechanics that almost keep pace with a top notch story 0

Ghost trick is a quality puzzle game with a unique story that takes engaging tricks, heh pun, and turns with a colorful cast of characters. The story executes an engaging murder mystery detective story where a murder happens per chapter that "Sissel" our main lead needs to reverse. You go back 4 minutes before every murder and see the events that happened before. The puzzle sequences then have you sometimes waiting for things to happen in the real world during this 4 minute duration, or going in...

Massive Chalice, fails to keep the tension throughout the experiance 0

You should try massive chalice if you're a XCOM fan or strategic/tactical RPG fan. I played through and beat the game on normal difficultly. I only made use of Hunters & Alchemists and their derivative class of warriors, completely sidestepping the caberjack class as I did not need it to effectively fight the Cadence over the course of the game. While Massive Chalice starts off challenging, it does not scale as your family bloodlines and hero pool gets better. I found myself being careless ...
