" XII's combat system was horrible from over complexity.  Sure it was in-depth but I don't get off tweaking when I'm supposed to be healed and when they should deal damage.  This combat system is alright.  Before you get paradigms it's just a series of how long you can mash "x" and wait to use a potion.  After paradigms it's a series of mash "x" and know when to switch to a healing paradigm then switch back to your other paradigm then continue mashing "x".  At least it'll stress test my new controller. :( "
How far have you got into the game?  Some of the later battles require way more strategy than that.

Exactly.

More quotes like this, and less knee-jerk reactions from people who apparently know so much, that they must work in Activision's HR department.

I really wouldn't care if it slowed down.  That way developers can focus on creating more original content.  I think this generation of games, more than the previous ones, is really starting to show this.  I wouldn't mind if the lifecycle of the current generation of systems lasted longer than the previous ones.  I'm very comfortable with my PS3/360/Wii combination and will be until the games get stale, which I don't think has even started happening.  The XBOX/PS2 gen got old much quicker, it's like it waiting for an upgrade.  I don't see that today.

People are more in love with the idea of the comfort and nostalgia that goes with classic Sonic, more than the actual game.  This is what that other company, Nintendo, banks on, and although their classic franchises aren't perfect, Sonic is even worse.  Sonic 1, 2, and 3, were not bad... but when you take away all those warm memories, you're left with a game that just ISN'T that great.  The titles after Sonic 3 were even less great, to the point of being terrible.

Take the Sonic franchise as a whole, get rid of the nostalgia, and you're left with a mediocre series.

I agree with many on the list, so I'll go with something new.  Final Fantasy IV and VI (2, 3 on the SNES), because of the dramatic quality increase in storyline between 1, 2, and 3 in the US.

The highest I've seen is the low 20s.  But as you can see by this list, the levels really really start to get long at 12.  Just getting from 12 to 13 is the same length as getting from 1 to 8.

Also, I've heard from some the plat is 180, and others it's 200.   However, I added up all my trophies, and I came out exactly at the correct point value, which is the beginning of 11 at the correct %.  So this list is accurate.

Point Value:
Bronze - 15
Silver - 30 (= 2 Bronze)
Gold - 90 (= 6 Bronze or 3 Silver)
Platinum - 180 (= 12 Bronze, 6 Silver or 2 Gold)

Level Point Requirements:
Level 1 - 0
Level 2 - 210
Level 3 - 600
Level 4 - 1,200
Level 5 - 2,400
Level 6 - 4,000
Level 7 - 6,000
Level 8 - 8,000
Level 9 - 10,000
Level 10 - 12,000
Level 11 - 14,000
Level 12 - 16,000
Level 13 - 24,000
Level 14 - 32,000
Level 15 - 40,000
Level 16 - 48,000
Level 17 - 56,000
Level 18 - 64,000

If you're going to watch it ever, watch it now.  Because if you're one to criticize the predictable story and writing, ou'll like it less on video.
