Games I'd like to see remade / re-released
There are plenty of games out there that I have fond memories of playing and enjoying very much that I'd like to see remade or re-released in some fashion. Here are a few.

Yes. All of them. Sure, you get the best one (Castlevania:SOTN) on the PS3, but I need them all. ALL! Update them for some slick HD graphics, achivements/trophies, etc., put them on a disc, and I'd buy two copies- one to play, and one to keep under my pillow so I might dream of killing skeletons all night long.
It still holds up- give it to me so I can buy it again, preferably in HD.
Wipeout is too floaty. Where's the HD update for this gem?
The Skate series can eat it. Give me back my 2D.
8 MEGA MEMORY! Actually, if you're playing the Genesis version and not the arcade, you're doing it wrong. Still, the Genesis version was awfully good for the time. I was even prepared to buy a SuperGrafix just for this game. Awesome huge 2D bosses. C'mon. Let's go, Capcom. You saw how well Bionic Commando Rearmed did.
Yes, Trackmania is great. But you can't create a jump that puts you straight up in the air for 30 seconds then breaks the board you just made. So there.
I think I heard rumblings of another Syndicate game being made, but I'm not sure. Just make sure you keep the isometric view.
A fantastic game in mood and gameplay that is just a little too janky to play again. And good luck getting it to run properly. After a disappointing third game, the first two are prime for a remake / re-release, given you can capture the mood properly. Hopefully Thief 4 will deliver.
Ditto from Thief: The Dark Project. Thief II refined the levels and removed some of the monster-y weirdness that plagued the first game. But it was still spooky.
Whatever happened to button mashing?
