Can't say I understand what you are talking about. I've thought about alot of graphical stuff over the course of my 50 hours with the 360 version but "pixelated" (as in extremely blurry/censored?) faces is not one of them.
Seems like the most rare one I have is "Turtle" from Mortal Kombat. Only #68 players have unlocked it and from what I heard Mortal Kombat sold really well!
*EDIT* Also seems only #117 have onlocked the "In Service of the Alliance" achievement in WoW wich befuddles me even more. Tho if we are going "well-deserved" combined with "generally annoying" it is of course only 1 achievement I can be that proud of!
Windwaker is a masterpiece and a classic. At least the later cannot be said for Skyward Sword yet and from what I've heard and read, not the first one either.
Of course this is just my personal opinion tho so take it for what its worth.
But you should not miss out on Windwaker. Game frikkin still holds up as one of the greatest games of all time.
You probably should have saved your money. Bethesda has, not even once, tried to satisfy the needs you are looking for even once since starting this genre waaaay back..Immersion is the keyword you are looking for and its clearly not in your gaming registry, Um.. too bad for you I guess? or not! Play what u feel like playing man.
There certainly are referenes at least back to Daggerfall for those of us who are old enugh to remember details other than what Dave showed us. Keep looking and keep reading!
Uniques cant be disenchanted. And you can't disenchant stuff you already disenchanted. Which is a very common problem with the way Skyrim decides to present its UI. Gimme "RPG of the 90s" interface from Morrowind.
My 360 is old enough that its really not the load times thats the problem with not installing the game, its the damn sound from the disc spinning. I'm not sure I can go back to playing 360 games and loosing my hearing at the same time again.
But since I read about this I am really starting to notice how bad the textures look. Gah.
Its so perfect in so many ways that Greg is doing this on Giant Bomb. It completes the circle in so many ways at once.
-> GameSpot was awesome -> Greg Oblivion marathon at gamespot happened -> almost all of the great people left GS -> Giant Bomb happened -> Greg Skyrim marathon at Giant Bomb happens -> the shattered remains of what was once a decent gaming site is also streaming Skyrim.
And of course all of the "Let's play" hype inbetween and GameSpot (amongst others) trying to find their place in the new kind of Gaming site world that Giant Bomb has created.
For me personally this marathon signifies so much more than watching a good game for 12 hours. It's a stream that signifies that things are as they should be..
Greg Kasavin still holds that authority. At least for me I suppose!
