According to Zen Studios at E3 2012 and according to their press sheet Castlestorm is coming to PSN, PS Vita, and other mobile platforms. It looks like Microsoft gave them a deal for some exclusive time on XBLA with the May 29th release. Hopefully they will fully deploy this title on the other announced platforms as soon as possible as I think this would make an excellent PS Vita title.
I never could master the Wipeout games. (I tried the latest one on PS3 and Vita in demo form and just couldn't master them.) Perhaps I didn't give them enough time but I don't think this studio has a hit game during the entire PS3's life.
Actually our system of a Constitutionally limited Republic has worked very well for over 200 years. Central Planned economies do not work (whether they be Socialist or Communist). They kill MILLIONS of people and produce terrible conditions for the vast majority of those who do survive in all the examples across the country. They produce the worst rulers who take advantage of the people and murder anyone who opposes them.
Our system here has been crumbling for almost 100 years as progressive politicians have pushed for more and more Central government and more and more regulations. We need to dramatically change that direction. One of the key differences between the Constitutional Republic and Socialistic and Communistic governments is the Republic is suppose to have a small Federal government and a much more empowered State and local government. That way even competition among State governments and local governments can produce better services for the people (or the people can easily leave).
The public school system has the same centrally planned, one forced location, one-size-fits-all mentality that doesn't work as well. You don't accept one-size fits all and you can only go shopping at one grocery store, so why do you for your school? And yet I would argue my kids education is way more important than which grocery store I go to. Of course I practice what I preach and my kids do not attend Public school (and they are much better for it).
I truly hate MMOs. Another great game series killed by an MMO project. I really wish more companies would smarten up and get off the MMO train.
I really enjoyed Reckoning and truly dismayed their will not be a follow-up to the title. Given a bit more focus and a bit smaller game world the sequel could have done very very well.
All my pre-ordered games say "Release Date Delivery" = Feb 15th (I have prime). Just for the heck of it I canceled the order on one of them (Modnation Racers: Road Trip) and then placed a new order and now it will arrive on my Birthday (Feb 11th) instead. :-)
I would totally expect a game and 4GB or 8GB Memory Card bundled with the system for the Fall/Holiday time frame for the WiFi model. If any unit was to come down in price it would be the 3G unit.
I hope they do have a unit that is $199 for the Fall, but I would actually prefer they make money on the console so that they can keep making great games.
