I don't sit when I play games.

My gaming TV is mounted high on the wall in front of an elliptical machine. If I am not gaming on the elliptical, I swivel the tv 90 degrees and play while standing on a step stool.

Awesome!!!

@seriousbug:

My wife has really dug:

  • Witcher 3
  • Resident Evil 7
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • HITMAN
  • Ori and the Blind Forest
  • Oxenfree
  • Sleeping Dogs

Anything with a good story or emergent gameplay are her favorite since it lets her enjoy a story or at least help make crazy gameplay choices with me.

She also might like:

For SF: Mass Effect series (you can involve her in the dialogue options), Technobabylon (great story point and click), KOTOR

For fantasy: Dragon Age, Game of Thrones

For cartoons: The Book of Unwritten Tales and sequels, Deponia and sequels (funny, enjoyable point and clicks)

For thrillers/detective story: The Wolf among us

Have a lot of fun together! :)

  • Incubation ('97, I think).
  • Beneath a Steel Sky ('94)
  • Dungeon Master II ('95 or so)
  • Supaplex ('91)

The order is random.

PS: Sorry, OP.

Just kidding :). But how can u leave any of the above behind?

Incubation - for the gameplay.Beautifully balanced, addictive. Beneath a Steel Sky- for the mise-en-scene, the atmosphere, the world and the story. Supaplex - my favorite "stupid annoying game" that washes off a stressful day. Dungeon Master II - for every aspect. But there's two of the best: carrying your dead mate's bones in the pocket and a running like hell when you see a sweet shiny star pop next to you!!!

Some times people play a game in ways the developer couldn't even imagine or add their unique role-play component no matter how rich/extended the game universe is. For instance, I rename planets and star systems to celebrate remarkable individuals (scout ships pilots, governors, scientists, generals, etc). Most of them, post-mortem. One lady general was that epic, so she received her glory while she was alive. What unique role-play component enriched your experience in Stellaris?

First of all, before commencing any diet, please talk to your doctor, especially because you're on meds that seem to mess with your metabolism. Giving up sodas is brilliant, but when it comes to avoiding sugars and fats, first find out how much your body and brain actually needs.

I understand the pressure you're under, I used to be a little "fluffy" when I was a kid, and my mom still drives me crazy when ever I put a little extra weight. I had to grow up and become and adult to prove her wrong.

Trust me, F..K IT! It's an artificial construct engineered by society.

Here's the naked truth: loosing or gaining weight is only about how an particular human body works at certain moments in time and has to do with a ton of reversible chemistry and biology inner processes. REVERSIBLE it's the day's word. Maybe it takes longer for some people to gain weight, maybe it takes longer for other to loose weight. Picture yourself on a timeline, since you were born and try to imagine a weight graphic. The numbers changed over time and they will change from now on.

Do what ever makes you comfortable and helps you loose weight, as long you don't do damage to yourself. Whatever you're planning to do, do it one step at the time. Too much exercise (or too difficult) at a time might increase too fast your blood pressure, for instance. Giving up "normal" food like meat, or cheese or veggies or drastically reduce your necessary intake might also harm you.

Good luck with your plan and remember, it's all biology and chemistry who're supposed to work in your favor! ;)
