Oh CoD. You were cool when I didn't think much about shooting games being something completely defined by hackneyed guidelines and stale plot devices. I won't judge you as being "good" or "bad". I will say you have become a niche or sub-genre for those who enjoy "modern" shooters with progressive experience building. Sometimes it can be fun with the right crowd, but I can't enjoy myself when I feel that the only way I can experience new weapons, perks, etc. is by investing hours of time mindlessly toiling away. Prestige be DAMNED!!!!

The franchise is certainly stale now. Brotherhood I felt should have been Ezio's swan song but instead they are beating the dead horse cuz it's a cash cow...   more animal references....

Suffer not the Heretic to Live!

I like new IPs that take bold risks and demonstrate passionate work. This hit many good notes from me, but I felt that it gets repetitive and dare I say it, boring at times.

I feel your pain, but the narrative and banter are the tiny threadlike silver linings which keep me trudging onward.

I love this franchise, what a shame.
