next generation of consoles need to be upgradable. have a panel on the back thats easy to open that holds the ram and graphics card... then they can just release upgrade packs instead of entire new consoles, to keep up with the technology thats always evolving..

Sounds like somebody needs a PC.

Unless they plan on making origin a prereqesit to install their new games, I will never install it on my computer.

And even if they do I might think twice about getting that particular title. I just hope SW: TOR doesn't require it.

SWTOR will definitely use Origin

Only if you want to purchase it digitally. Other than that, you don't need to run it as it uses its own separate patcher.

Here's a quote about it from Stephen Reid:

Regardless of what other games may choose to do in their integration with Origin's desktop client, here's what our situation is:

You are not required to use the Origin desktop client to download, patch or play the game client for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

This applies whether you purchase The Old Republic via Origin.com or from a retailer in boxed form. You will not be forced to install the Origin desktop client.

There are still various consumer benefits to the client itself, but it's not required for The Old Republic.

This is a good move. SW:TOR has tons of interest and nobody wants to wait through insane queue times and server downtime.

Colts will win their second Super Bowl and Peyton Manning will be in every commercial by the end of 2010.

@TheMustacheHero: Just how short is GoW? I'm only at the Temple so far. Haven't been able to play it much.

Nice, I just received a PSP Go for christmas as well and am loving it very much.

As far as recommendations I would have to say God of War: Chains of Olympus. Bought it along with Half-Minute Hero, GTA: CW, FFVII, and MGS. Loving every second of the game and it plays just like the console version except you have one analog stick.
