Reserved the 512 version and had no issues reserving at all. I’m guessing that the initial rush might be subsiding. No idea what that means for when I’m eligible to receive though. As others have said, that might be a good thing as I can see initial responses before full commitment.
Haha! I should have clarified. We are going “camping” in a 28 foot travel trailer. So days of hiking and fishing and nights of sitting. So I thought a good board game would be a good way to pass the time in the trailer since we won’t have access to any other entertainment.
I have a friend who wants to play Gloomhaven with me. We are going on a camping trip together and want to make it our nighttime activity. 1-2 hour scenarios are perfect for this but the campaign is not. I’m interested in the community’s thoughts on Gloomhaven (we are both new) and whether we could continue our campaign virtually as we live in different states.
Unfortunately, more and more lately. Whether due to “adulting” or being old and getting aged out of some of the faster paced games. I’ve had to really change the games I commit to as I end up dropping them fast if I’m just getting crushed over and over again. For me, it’s not the difficulty but the speed of input/decisions that make me drop games. I love and have beat the soulsborne games (minus Sekiro) but games like dead cells or any modern pvp shooter I tend to drop quickly.
Just a small comment to those of us who are very put off by the speculation going on. Gaining understanding is a huge part of grieving. Even in cases where that understanding is not possible, the attempt to understand is still part of the healing process. While, speculation is harmful in some ways it can also be an attempt to understand and move on. Make no mistake there are people in this community who are really hurting. Trying to understand almost always is a precursor to acceptance. Speculation is unavoidable as people are coming to grips with their grief. It’s part of the process. No harm in reminding them that they may never get the answers they are looking for but please don’t disparage a fellow GB’er who might be working their way through some very real pain.
The only question I think is “valid” is why all 3, all at once? That seems to leave the site in a overly weakened state which doesn’t seem like something they would do. The reasons why have been answered and speculation is a fruitless exercise. I do think wondering why all 3 at once is a valid question and one that won’t be answered. It’s ok to have questions though.
