I felt like I was waiting for the actual thing to start the entire time, whether the "thing" was a show or a punchline or whatever it was meant to be but then the video ended.
I didn't hate it or love it, it just didn't do anything for me. And I guess it doesn't need to?
The perfect parry into a jumping attack crit in this game feels so good. Weapon variety is not crazy but you can do dumb stuff like having a gun in each hand, turning it into a weird twin stick shooter with active reload and nice mobility.
I'd also echo some of the other folks here, start on Explorer and then depending on how you feel about the timers and combat you can adjust those settings.
More Insomniac stuff seems fine, not super exciting but something I'll play for sure. God of War seems like more of the same in a good way I guess. Forspoken looks weird and interesting, hopefully there is a Japanese voice track.
The retailers around here might actually be close to getting through their PS5 order queues by the time GoW comes out. Last time I checked the biggest two stores were shipping units to orders made in January.
Started playing this a few nights ago and having fun so far. The biggest complain I have is definitely the amount of bot matches you get. I've only done 15ish Ranked matches and maybe 6-7 of those were against bots.
I understand that they want to let you win at lower ranks so you keep playing and maybe put some money in but man its frustrating when I feel like I'm getting put into the "kiddie queue" if I happen to lose a match.
So we're just ignoring the idea of a tuna supreme pizza being the nasty thing ever suggested? What are you doing Dominos?
What is on a Tuna Supreme? If it is just tuna and some meat I'll get down with that for sure. 99% of all the pizzas I've ever eaten had tuna on them, but "knowing" Dominos I imagine the supreme might have something else horrible on it.
At least when you are watching other reactions / watching this one after other ones, there is a bunch of things you can just skip over. Unless you really love Wheezer of course.
Elden Ring looks fun, there is definitely some animation skeleton hold-over from Sekiro there, combined with Souls elements and what seems like more RPG build variety. I liked Sekiro but the melding of math and action is what makes the Souls games for me. Looking forward to seeing what they do with possibly more open environments.
