@EvilTwin: Well, I suppose that depends on what type of game you want to improve your skills in. What playlist/gametype most inspired you to create this thread asking for tips?
@EvilTwin: If you want some really specific advice, upload a full gameplay to your File Share and then post the link here for people to download and critique.
" It had rocket spawns, it had invis, over-shield, all of the game was in there, while MLG strives at taking all of these out to create what they call more "balanced and competitive" gaming environments. "
Not sure what you meant by this comment; the MLG gametypes do have Rockets, Camo, and OS, and always have. The v1 MLG Reach settings exclude the Camo and OS powerups, because they currently do not function properly (Camo powerup behaves like the Camo AA, and OS doesn't charge properly). In place of those powerups, they have Armor Lock, Jetpack and Hologram available on the map as contestable power items.
I love the announced game lineup, but I simply don't have much time to play handheld systems anymore. Maybe in a year or two when the price drops or I can find a good deal on one online, but right now it isn't imperative that I own it at launch.
I liked the demo and feel like they've made some solid gameplay improvements since FIFA 10 (never got the chance to play the World Cup edition, so I can't compare it to that). With that said, I'll probably hold out for a drop in price or an Amazon sale; I've never been able to justify buying an annual sports title on day one.
One of my favorite comedies on TV at the moment, just behind the FX trio of It's Always Sunny, Louie, and The League. It's definitely my favorite NBC comedy by far right now, which is a compliment in many ways, but also indicative of how far The Office has fallen the past few years.
I love how they decide to explain again how the no-bleed mechanic works, as though it were some mystery that players couldn't wrap their minds around. The problem isn't that people lack the skill to deal with the no-bleed, but rather that it's a completely asinine game mechanic. I really hope they remove it with a patch some time down the road.
@SumDeus: Opposite for me. I think his stand up is really good, but I don't enjoy Tosh.0 very much. Though I have to say that the Web Redemption segments can be pretty entertaining, and any time he solicits opinions from Twitter there's usually some hilarious responses.
@Sir_Ragnarok: Actually, you do get a small glimpse of the Chief during the last level through an Easter Egg if you hold both thumbsticks to the right during the cutscene where the Autumn leaves the dry dock:
