Ugh - any TV/film writer, director, or producer who agrees to pose for a picture of them casually pointing to their own head like "this is where the magic comes from!", needs to be flogged with a golf club.

I liked Star Trek 2009 (though it was kind of brutally disrespectful of Star Trek canon), but JJ Abrams has created a lot of shitty stuff in the past few years, too.

See, I figured he was just flipping us all the bird.

I fully expect that enormous controller to get a slimmed down bezel and a bigger screen and for people to cry "BUT I JUST BOUGHT THE FIRST ONE" cause Nintendo.

I think at the very least it'll hold my attention until Minecraft gets some time to patch up and release.  This isn't a bad thing - I've kind of gotten Minecraft-fatigue myself, having explored a lot of what I can do in that game and tested my limits.

That said, I purcahsed Terraria day one.  Can't wait to see what updates will bring and at what speed.

Yeah, Terraria feels more like a game of Diablo than Minecraft.  The onus feels more on killing and collecting, and upgrading your equipment to do more killing and collecting in a more dangerous locale.

Yeah, as angry as fans get at a lack of information, they get much worse when they're given WRONG information.  I can wait on the release date :P

Yyyyeah I think it might be a little soon for people to be excited about it.  Maybe once it hits the wild.

Blue mentioned adding "Massive" maps that would maybe take up to a gig of memory.  Yeep.  Renting one of those is like...$30-$40/month.
