Play the Sherlock stuff. It's good! Except Devil's Daughter.
Sad to hear that. Is it "avoid at any cost" bad, or "it's OK but not for anything near full-price" bad? The GameStop near me frequently has it on sale for $25-$30.
Hey, bud. Personally I would recommend buying it around 20 bucks if you can. It's a competently and stylishly developed game, but it's really easy and full of unnecessary action-sequences and mini-games. Crimes and Punishments is a good game, though.
Crimes and Punishments was great; Devil's Daughter started out with an Assassin's Creed-style "follow sequence" and I haven't went back to it since :/ Hopefully the game gets better after that...?
Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper is really good. Has got a fair bit of jank but it was before they started dumbing the games down with Testament. The story is really good and I enjoyed the puzzles and deduction stuff. The Awakened is good too. Nemesis is bad.
