All the best to those still at the site and those coming, and I'll give the Bombcast a chance for a bit, but in this point in history this type of "separate ways" PR speak reads like Jeff did something wrong and needed to be ousted. Disgusting.
I learned long ago from games that you can't give an IP to a new team and have it continue to be what it once was. "Giant Bomb" is nothing, the collection of talent and voices that created it and made it what it was was everything. With this change we're left with something entirely different and I hope it does well, but my sub money goes where Gerstmann goes.
I don't understand why they aren't putting subtitles on themselves so at least while they're rambling about uninteresting unrelated things at least some of them can be following the dialogue.
I keep sitting through these hoping they get better, but they seem to only be getting worse. The Fast and Furious ones were good because the movies were being watched and enjoyed for what they were, but this is just drunk people screaming over each other while a movie plays in the background.
The need for Alex to keep putting down the movie by saying nothing in it makes sense because it became easier than continually having to explain the actual reasons for events that people missed because they talked over all the dialogue was a bit sad.
It's funny they mention there should be an Eyes Wide Shut themed level. Hitman: Blood Money basically already had that with the 'A Dance with the Devil' mission. Hopefully there'll be some remakes of some of the best levels of the previous games in the new game later.
I suggested it for the Choose Our Own Adventure, but didn't think they'd ever get around to it.
It's great he played it and it went really well for this. It's still pretty early so I think it will be much better for another video down the line once it's completed or closer to completion. Besides more levels, we're working on a rogue-like mode that will have a lot of unique abilities and we're also adding co-op support so there'll be a lot more to to do in a video like that when those things are done.
